David Brough, the head of Democratic Services at Hillingdon Council, is to retire from working for the Council. David has worked for Hillingdon "Man and Boy" for the last 38 years.

Cllr Mike Cox said

" The people of Hillingdon will be losing a real "champion.

David is extremely well respected and liked right across the political divide.

The dedication and care with which he has managed the electoral process over many years is of the highest quality.

David has thrown himself into many different roles in Hillingdon but the way he has championed working in partnership with the Police has developed real results which will last for many years to come. Successive Borough Commanders have always been fulsome in praise of Davids dedication and energy.

He will be an impossible act to follow!"
