Bessingby Park in Ruislip has yet again been filled with sewerage from a faulty drain. This comes despite pleas by Mike Cox and other local councillors to get it sorted out. It was only a few months ago in April that the same thing happened in the same place.

Mike Cox said

"Thames Water are grossly negligent in refusing to deal with this threat to human and animal health in a timely way . I had reports of local dogs in the area having to be completely bathed because they inadvertently strayed into the offending spillage.

I am going to complain to OFWAT about Thames Waters negligence. When it comes to dealing with a matter of this importance it is vital the Council and Thames Water work effectively together. We need an quick response which will clear this up within hours NOT days/weeks/months."
