Statement in response to today's Heathrow announcement from Cllr Mike Cox, Leader of Hillingdon's Lib Dem Group

Building a 3rd runway at Heathrow will be a personal disaster for those evicted from their homes and an environmental catastrophe for the residents of Hillingdon and many parts of West London.

A 3rd runway at Heathrow is environmentally unsustainable. The government has decided to escalate the environmental disasters of the past for our children to endure in the future.
